*We arrived Hotel was a bit earlier. We can not check in until 3 o’clock. So we put our luggage at counters and started to go to sight-seeing. Joanne thinks only the area around Ruins of St. Paul is worthy to visit. We took taxi to that area and would like to find a Portuguese restaurant to have a lunch. The travel guide book introduces Restaurant Platao. Because The chef of Restaurant Platao , Mr. Lou Chi Seng , was a chef in the Macao’s Governor’s Palace for 26 years and served for 7 Governors.
*Restaurant Platao is located at a narrow alley. When we found it, it looks like in another world. Since we didn’t make a reservation, the only seats available were at outdoors. Below are the dishes we had : Bacon and Shrimp Rolls (just like ordinary fried shrimp roll, but adds bacons)、Salmon Cake (not bad , like crab cake)、Charcoal Grilled Pork Cheek (cheek meat is chewy)、Fried Bacalhau with Shredded Potato ( which is special, but Bacalhau was too salty) Seafood Rice Portuguese Style ( the tomato sauce matched the taste of seafoods. Rice was so good. We all liked this dishes very much) and Biscuit Mousse Serradura ( I insisted to order it. Originally, I think it will be like pudding, then I found out it is more like ice cream, with heavy milk )
*Because we sat outdoors, we found this restaurant seems very famous. People come around. Once there is empty seat, it will be taken immediately.
